Amuse-bouche: walking the walk
Here’s to considering walkability when deciding where to live. Which reminds me of a study I heard about a couple months ago contending that walking contributes more to global warming than driving does. Treehugger’s EcoGeek has a nice debunking of it here.

Having moved a "real city" for the first time only a couple of years ago, i care about walkability very much. I like the Walk Score tool - very useful. It would be great to see public transportation added as a category (intercity train stations, bus stops, etc.).
